The Shodh Sagar Journal for Medical Research Advancement (SSJMRA) strongly believes in the equal opportunity for researchers worldwide to publish their work. Recognizing the financial constraints that many authors face, especially those from low-income countries, we have instituted a Fee Waiver Program. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity in scientific research and publishing.

 

Remove financial barriers to publishing for authors facing economic hardships.

Encourage diverse and global participation in medical research dissemination.

Ensure that high-quality research is shared widely, regardless of the author's economic background.

 

Authors from Low-Income Countries: As defined by the World Bank or similar international bodies.

Financial Hardship: Applicants should provide evidence of their financial situation, such as income status, lack of institutional funding, or other relevant financial challenges.

Income Level: Applicants should fall below a certain income threshold, which could be determined based on their country's average income or poverty line.

Lack of Institutional Support: Evidence that the applicant's institution does not provide funding for publication fees.

Unemployment or Underemployment: Status as a student, unemployed, or part-time worker might qualify.

Additional Financial Burdens: Consideration of other financial obligations, such as medical expenses or family support, that significantly impact the applicant's ability to pay the fee.

 

Before Submission: Interested authors are advised to apply for the fee waiver prior to the time of manuscript submission.

Form Completion: Fill out the Fee Waiver Application Form, providing detailed information about your financial status and justification for the waiver request. Apply Here

Supporting Documents: Attach any relevant documents that support your application. This may include proof of income, employment status, or a statement from your institution.

 

Applications are reviewed confidentially by a dedicated committee.

Decisions are based on the provided evidence and the merit of the research work.

Applicants will be notified of the decision via email.

 

The waiver covers the Article Procesing Charges only.

A limited number of waivers are available each year, and they are granted at the journal's discretion.

Receiving a waiver for one manuscript does not guarantee waivers for future submissions.
